Disability Access:
Joe's treatment room is located on the 2nd floor, up some stairs. 
​If climbing stairs is an issue, please let us know and we'll try to find a time where we can arrange a ground floor room with disability access for your appointment.

Feeling Unwell:
​We kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment if you have any cold/flu-like symptoms, are waiting the results of a Covid-19 test, or are supposed to be isolating.
Cancellation Policy:
If you need to to cancel or reschedule your appointment a link is included in your appointment confirmation email, or feel free to contact us directly.

You may cancel up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment without penalty. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the chargeable fee.

ACC Information

New Injury Claims (ACC):
If you have an injury and need to submit an ACC claim, an acupuncturist cannot create a new claim for you.  You can lodge a new claim with your GP, physiotherapist, osteopath, etc.  Once lodged, an acupuncturist can then accept that claim for treatment.

​Existing Injury Claims (ACC):
Acupuncturists can accept an active existing ACC injury claim relevant to the injury you are coming in with.
Length of Coverage:
The coverage for acupuncture lasts for 12 weeks from the date of your first acupuncture session for that claim.

Expired Claims:
If you want to use an expired claim (claims generally expire 1 year from the date of injury) please discuss this with your practitioner, they will assess your case to see if an extension is possible.  These are generally cases with a mental injury, serious injury, and those who’ve recently had surgery.  Be aware that the initial appointment would not be covered by ACC and be billed private.
