With two decades of experience in osteopathy and physiotherapy clinics across Wellington, Dunedin, and internationally, Joe provides personalized care to help clients manage pain and improve their quality of life. Originally an architectural draftsman from Long Island, New York, Joe’s own experience overcoming health challenges—combined with a fascination for anatomy—led to a career shift and a move to New Zealand.
Joe provides fascia-informed manual therapy and acupuncture, tailored to support recovery, well-being, and nervous system balance. Treatments may be fully hands-on or include needling, depending on your goals. His toolkit includes myofascial and joint work¹, orthopedic cupping, traditional and modern acupuncture², cranial, neural, and visceral therapy³, scar integration, and somatic approaches for trauma and nervous system regulation. Joe is a lifelong learner who continues to expand his skills through ongoing training, and he has also taught at the New Zealand School of Acupuncture & TCM. Outside the clinic, he enjoys time in nature, listening to music, and exploring good food. He is a registered ACC health provider.
